If you were one of the 16 million people to tune into the season seven premiere of Game of Thrones, you know that winter is, in fact, here (despite what you've been seeing on your weather app). And in just a few months, you'll be watching the Winter Olympics too.

To celebrate the upcoming event, Team USA athletes sat on a new and improved version of the Iron Throne and posed for some epic pictures, getting the country hyped up for the PyeongChang Winter Games.

The trendy campaign is a part of NBC's effort to launch their new Olympic Channel where viewers can watch Olympic-programming 24/7, according to a press release.

Among the participants are skiers Lindsey Vonn and Mikaela Shiffrin, Paralympian snowboarder Amy Purdy, figure skaters Gracie Gold and Ashley Wagner, ice hockey champ Hillary Knight and several other Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls.

The throne itself is made out of 36 skis, 8 snowboards, 28 ski poles, 18 hockey sticks, ice skates, gloves, masks, and pucks according to Us Weekly. The items, which were purchased on Craigslist, were assembled to mimic the Iron Throne and then covered with metallic paint for a chilling effect. Even the base of the throne was sculpted to look like ice and the photo in the background is of the Taebaek Mountains in PyeongChang, South Korea where the Games will be held.

The Olympic Channel will be available to a range of subscribers including Altice, AT&T Direct TV, Comcast, Spectrum, and Verizon. The Games themselves will air from February 8th to the 25th.
