NBA YoungBoy and Birdman Find Director for 'Ballin Blocker 2'

NBA YoungBoy and Birdman have finally found a director for their upcoming film, Ballin Blocker 2.

According to reports, Clifton Bell is set to film following his music video work with the likes of J. Cole, Rick Ross, Gucci Mane, T.I., The Roots, Ginuwine and more, with his more recent work being the visual for Latto and Lil Baby's "Sex Lies."

Ballin Blocker 2 was first announced by YB and Birdman in October 2022 and will serve as the sequel to the 2000 film, which starred Lil Wayne, Birdman, Juvenile and focused on life in New Orlean's Magnolia Projects. Although Weezy was from New Orleans and YB from Baton Rouge, Birdman previously shared that he saw "a lot of similarities" between the two leading stars. “Watching how fast he do music and the value of the music, I saw a lot of similarities between him and Wayne," he said. "I seen stardom in him, but I knew it was a process.”
