Naturefest to be held Saturday at Union Meadows East

Apr. 25—A special event will be held April 27 to celebrate nature.

Family Naturefest will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Union Meadows East, 100 Campbell Forge Road, Union Township. The free event is being presented by the Union Township and Robeson Township environmental advisory committees. Parking is available behind Fork and Ale.

The family-friendly event will feature animal demonstrations, bird and meadow tours and crafts and free food and drinks.

Participating vendors include: French Creek, Berks Nature, Natural Lands Trust, Schuylkill Highlands, Penn State Master Gardeners, Berks Conservation District, Schuylkill River Greenways, Shady Hollow Riding, Hampton Stables, River Tribe, Berks Game Commission, Rock Hollow Woods Environmental Learning Center and Hawk Mountain Sanctuary.
