National Treasure 3

It’s been more than 15 years since National Treasure: Book of Secrets (2007), the sequel to National Treasure (2004), premiered, which means it’s been 1.5 decades since fans started asking for a National Treasure 3.

Well, it seems we’re finally getting one. In 2020, The Hollywood Reporter shared that National Treasure 3 was in the works with the original producer Jerry Bruckheimer spearheading the project.

"We said we'd like to make another National Treasure and they said, ‘Sure, let's come up with a new cast.’" Bruckheimer told E! News in an interview about Disney+’s National Treasure: Edge of History. "At the same time, we were developing National Treasure for the theaters with Nicolas Cage—which we still are. So, that's ongoing.”

While audiences recently dove back into the National Treasure world with a now canceled Disney+ series, fans really want to see another Nicolas Cage-led movie. So, what do we know about the third installment of National Treasure? Truly not much, but here’s what we do know.
