National Geographic Corporate Office's Gosling Rescue Has People So Invested

National Geographic writer Doug Main had a super eventful day recently helping some wildlife volunteers get geese parents and their goslings to a safe haven from the corporate offices of the magazine in Washington, D.C. to a nearby pond.

The TikTok account for @NatGeo posted the following clip and it's simply amazing! You may want to pop some popcorn and grab a beverage because this clip is more riveting than any summer blockbuster out there!

Oh my goodness! Everyone was so concerned when we saw the goslings who were born on the third floor jump OFF the building and the volunteer had to catch them with a net! What a catch! TikTok users agree and @DrSpencer comments, "That little guy on the ledge was STRESSFUL." SO STRESSFUL! @Allie adds, "I’m sobbing. This was so stressful and then so heartwarming. I went through way too many emotions but I’m glad to see all ended well." @Zero says what we are all thinking with, "This was way more riveting than some movie I've seen. WTG lady who caught the gosling!" @Lydia replies, "Those geese got their steps in that day. That was a long walk for their little legs."

What an amazing story! We are so happy this goose family will now be living their life together in the park pond. If you find a gosling without their parents, put the baby in a cardboard box with a heat source or blanket and contact your local wildlife center immediately.
