Nathan Fillion Shares Birthday Hack as He Celebrates on Tropical Beach

Nathan Fillion, who stars in the popular crime TV series The Rookie, is officially 52 years old, as he celebrated his birthday on March 27.

While most celebrate for the quick 24 hours that come and go, Fillion revealed that he has a secret way to extend his birthday a little longer, sharing the hack on Instagram with a photo of his special day spent at the beach.

The actor captioned the beach picture, "I discovered a way to make my birthday last longer. I crossed the international dateline and celebrated my birthday today in Thailand, and tomorrow I’ll receive well wishes from everyone who is still in yesterday. I beat the system."

Fans and friends stopped by to wish Fillion a happy birthday and share how they benefit from the same birthday hack.

One fan shared some wishful thinking, asking if Fillion's trip to Thailand means he will be in the third season of The White Lotus, as it was just reported that it would be the setting for the next batch of episodes.

Yesterday, during the first part of Fillion's extended birthday, the star shared a major throwback video from the set of the hit series Castle with co-star Seamus Dever. The clip gave everyone a few good laughs as many more wished Fillion a happy birthday while others noted how much they miss the series.
