The influencer and co-founder of Monday Swimwear found inspiration for the collection from her personal style, which she described as gravitating toward neutrals with a pop of color or sparkle.
“This collection undeniably mirrors my own style while being thoughtfully crafted to complement and elevate everyone’s look,” Oakley told FN. “I mainly drew inspiration from my personal style and the shoe designs I repeatedly gravitate towards in my own collection — only better and more comfortable which ultimately means more confidence. The resulting styles are uncomplicated, timeless and purposefully crafted to enhance the beauty of the female figure.”
Oakley’s personal style can be found in the collection, with neutral shades of beige, white and black options as well as sparkly detailing and more colorful styles in shades of blue and yellow. Styles like the Manhattan feature a thin wedge heel and a clear PVC peep-toe, while more classic styles like the Saint Germain, with its sharp pointed toe and slingback strap, are also included in the line.
“The team is honestly a dream to work with and our visions were very much aligned for this collection,” Oakley said. “I learned so much about shoes and the design process. The team and I worked closely together over the last nine months to perfect this collection. Similar to my own brands, I love the creative process and personally participating in the design work.”
The Natasha Oakley x Billini collection is available now on billini.com with prices ranging between $80 to $100.
