Kobe Bryant’s daughter Natalia poses in front of mural of her dad and late sister Gigi

Several weeks after her father, NBA legend Kobe Bryant, and 13-year-old sister Gianna were killed in a Jan. 26 helicopter crash, Natalia Bryant is slowly returning to life as a typical teen. The 17-year-old recently attended her school’s winter formal dance but took a moment to pay tribute to her late loved ones en route.

Vanessa Bryant, the basketball star’s widow, posted an Instagram photo on Sunday which shows the oldest of their four daughters posing in front of a mural painted in honor of Kobe and Gianna, aka. “Gigi.” The mural, inspired by a photograph of the father and daughter at a basketball game, is one of many to go up in the weeks since their fatal accident, in which seven others also died.

It served as a touching backdrop for Natalia’s pre-dance photo shoot. The teen wore a navy and white spotted minidress and taupe heeled sandals as she proudly posed in front of her loved ones’ images.

“[Love] my babies,” Vanessa Bryant, who is also mother to 3-year-old Bianka and 8-month-old Capri Bryant, captioned the photo.

The post has been praised by celebrity supporters like Khloé Kardashian, Dwyane Wade and Lenny Kravitz.

“Gorgeous! Your twin,” wrote Bryant family friend and WNBA star Lisa Leslie.
