‘Nashville’ Star Clare Bowen Helped Design Her Wedding Dress: See the First Photos
So much cause for celebration! Nashville star Clare Bowen got married to her longtime sweetheart, fellow singer Brandon Robert Young, fittingly in a Nashville ceremony on Saturday, October 21, fulfilling a long-ago promise that was made before family members and loved ones.
The event was doubly exciting because Bowen’s younger brother—whose cancer diagnosis had caused the couple to temporarily postpone their wedding last year—is now in remission.
Bowen’s rep confirms to The Knot that the actress and Young married at the Cash Family’s Cedar Hill Refuge. John Carter Cash, a close friend of both the bride and groom, officiated the intimate nuptials.

Bowen joined Nashville-based couture bridal designer Olia Zavozina to help create her dream gown, a massive undertaking and partnership between the pair. She paired the custom piece with silk Jimmy Choo ballet slippers. Alyssa Joy Valletta of Alyssa Joy Photography documented the joyous day as the couple exchanged vows before their loved ones.
