Nashville police investigating hookah bar shooting that left man, DJ dead

Metro Nashville police are trying to determine if the gunfire that killed two men at a hookah bar this weekend was an isolated incident between the victims or if others were involved.

Officers were called to the lounge in the 700 block of Hill Avenue Sunday about 2 a.m. in reference to a shots fired call.

A DJ at the lounge, David Bickham, 27, was found dead inside the building, police said Sunday evening. Police found Tarrell Grant, 26, critically injured. He was rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died.

Investigators found one gun inside the building, police said.

Anyone who witnessed the shooting, but left before officers arrived, is encouraged to call the homicide unit at 615-862-6910.
