NASA Is Awarding up To $500K if You Can Figure Out How To Feed Astronauts in Deep Space

After almost a year of pandemic, it seems like we've all had some time to think about a little bit of everything.NASA hopes that someone has considered how to feed astronauts on space missions. .NASA and the Canadian Space Agency have collaborated on "The Deep Space Food Challenge.They hope the competition will provide "novel and game-changing food technologies.".Basically, they're looking for easy-to-prep space food that hasn't been freeze dried, and isn't served in a little foil pouch.Anyone interested in putting a team together to develop space food needs to register on the Challenge website.NASA is also awarding $25,000 to top-scoring teams, and those groups will continue competing in Phase 2.
