Nars Is Launching a New Three-Piece Θrgasm Collection
Different blush formulas and shades may come and go, but no matter what, Nars Θrgasm remains a foolproof favorite. It's the one staple we come back to time after time, a perfect peachy-pink color with just the right amount of gold shimmer that never fails to leave cheeks perfectly flushed. Case in point: It's won a Best of Beauty Award six times. Since the iconic blush hue first launched in 1999, it's spawned other spin-off products, including an illuminator, liquid blush, lip gloss, and nail polish. Now, this summer, Nars is adding a few newbies to the big O line-up, including Afterglow Lip Balm and Illuminating Loose Powder.
The original Θrgasm Blush shade legitimately looks good on everyone. Call it makeup magic, but we've seen firsthand how it brightens up pale skin, adds a golden glow to medium skin tones, and looks vibrant against dark complexions. Though folks have been using it as a dual-purpose blush and highlighter for years, now there's a silky, Illuminating Loose Powder ($28) with an amped up shimmer level that takes your Θrgasm highlight to the next level. It also looks gorgeous dusted on lids for an easy, summery monochromatic look — paired with the blush, of course.
The Afterglow Lip Balm ($28) — which we got a super sneak peek of backstage at fashion week last season — is bound to snag a prime spot in your bag of daily makeup essentials. Lusciously buttery and creamy, it delivers the sheerest wash of that gorgeous Θrgasm color, and it doesn't hurt that it's also packed with protective antioxidants. According to an Instagram from the brand, it will be available a day early exclusively through Instagram starting May 16, so keep your eyes peeled for that.
Rounding out the new collection is an oversized version of the OG blush ($39), an indulgent, limited-edition jumbo compact that, if you're a lifelong fan of Nars, you definitely need in your collection. There is also a fourth item in the Θrgasm collection, a limited-edition shade in their forthcoming Full Vinyl Lip Lacquer ($26) — a high gloss, high shine, all around high impact formula — though that won't launch until June 8th so you'll have to wait until closer to the launch date to see swatches.
The line will be available on the Sephora app on May 17 and on May 20 on Sephora.com, narscosmetics.com and in Nars Boutiques. The Θrgasm Full Vinyl Lip Lacquer will be available on June 8th. Pick up one item in the collection, or grab all four. After all, multiple Θrgasms are always a good thing, right?
