Naomie Harris Goes for Gold in Miu Miu—And Wins

There is a time for minimalism, and then there is a time for jaw-dropping, over-the-top fashion. Last night at the Los Angeles premiere of Rampage, Naomie Harris opted for the latter and shut down the red carpet with a solid gold look from Miu Miu. With thousands of gold paillettes covering the tight georgette gown, Harris brought the drama and even managed to overshadow the towering set pieces and props that filled the Microsoft Theatre.

Harris and her stylist, Thomas Carter Phillips, chose platinum and gold earrings accented by carved jade discs and a coordinating ring from David Webb Jewels, which kept the look captivating without seeming over done. A tasseled Bienen Davis clutch, Jimmy Choo heels, and a megawatt smile finished the look, and Harris looked cool beside her co-stars The Rock and Malin Ackermann. Such an in-your-face take on glamour might not be right for every occasion, but when you’re heading up a great big blockbuster, it’s your time to shine. Decked out in Miu Miu, Harris did just that.
