Naomi Osaka Offers Rare Glimpse of Her Growing Baby Bump in New Instagram Photos

It seems like it was only yesterday that tennis star Naomi Osaka, 25, revealed she is pregnant with her first child. And now, the Grand Slam champion is sharing rare photos of her growing baby bump.
On Instagram, Osaka posted a series of photos that were taken on her vacation to Japan. In the first pic, the tennis athlete is flaunting her pregnant belly while posing in the middle of a busy street in Tokyo. She is sporting a black baseball cap, round gold hoop earrings, baggy denim jeans and a pair of beige-and-white sneakers.
She paired the look with a personalized cropped jersey (featuring her last name written on the back). As for the caption, Osaka simply put an emoji of the Japanese flag.
Her supporters couldn’t get enough of the mom-to-be in the comments section, with one person writing, “It’s giving mommy.” Another commented, “Glowing mama,” with a heart-eyed emoji.

When Osaka announced her pregnancy on social media back in January, the professional athlete also revealed that she is taking a break from tennis. The message (written in English and Japanese) read: “The past few years have been interesting, to say the least, but I find that it’s the most challenging time in life that may be the most fun. These few months away from the sport has really given me a new love and appreciation for the game I’ve dedicated my life to.”
Osaka added, “I realize that life is so short and I don’t take any moments for granted, every day is a new blessing and adventure. I know that I have so much to look forward to in the future, one thing I’m looking forward to is for my kid to watch one of my matches and tell some, ‘That’s my mom,’ haha. 2023 will be a year that’ll be full of lessons for me and I hope I’ll see you guys in the start of the next one cause I’ll be at Aus 2024. Love you all infinitely [red heart emoji].”
