Sarah Burton presented her last show for Alexander McQueen during Paris Fashion Week and unsurprisingly, it did not disappoint. Met with a standing ovation across the board, the emotionally-charged showcase offered a selection of house staples, updated by elevated design details, breath-taking embellishments and a newfound sense of freedom and liberation.

According to the show notes, "This collection is inspired by female anatomy, Queen Elizabeth I, the blood red rose and Magdalena Abakanowicz, a transgressive and powerfully creative artist who refused ever to compromise her vision." Burton continues to add, "the show is dedicated to the memory of Lee Alexander McQueen, whose wish was always to empower women, and to the passion, talent and loyalty of my team."
