The House Minority Leader may not be professionally styled by celebrity fave Monica Rose, but at Monday night’s Democratic National Convention kickoff concert, she sure looked the part.
Though she typically favors suiting — switching between skirts and pants with matching blazers — Pelosi chose a monochrome outfit featuring a short-sleeve top and slightly flared pants in creamy lace. If we didn’t know any better, we’d think Rose, who frequently styles the Kardashian-Jenners and Hadids in flattering single-color clothing, had collaborated with the former House Speaker on the chic ensemble.
In fact, the person who most likely chose Pelosi’s look is businessman Paul Pelosi, otherwise known as the congresswoman’s husband of 53 years. According to a 2010 Daily Beast article, “For the most part, her husband, Paul, picks out her clothes.”
Well, if Monica Rose is ever too busy to pick out a fabulous new outfit for King Kylie, Mr. Pelosi and his innate sense of style might just be the next best option.
