Nacho Figueras Knows He Looked Awkward in that Photo of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Smooching

Polo player Nacho Figueras became the poster boy for third wheels when a photo of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's kissing after a polo match went viral yesterday. Figueras is pictured next to them, holding out a trophy that neither seemed to care about.

But Figueras had a good sense of humor about it and poked fun at himself in an Instagram he shared of the moment he became a meme. "When you wished the trophy would turn into a violin. What an incredible love story," he wrote.

Figueras is a friend of Prince Harry's and attended the royal wedding. He has nothing but gushy things to say about Meghan and Harry as a couple. Of Meghan, he told People yesterday that “she’s lovely, she’s wonderful. I’m very happy for her, for Harry. They’re both lucky to have found each other and have this new chapter of their life.”
