Oreo Just Revealed That Its Mystery Cookie Is Churro-Flavored

We’ve been waiting nearly six months for this moment, and it has finally come. Oreo’s 2019 Mystery flavor is … churro!
A classic churro consists of fried dough that is covered in sugar and cinnamon. This limited-edition flavor comes through in the Oreo’s creme. There was a $50,000 prize for guessing the correct answer, so other popular guesses were funnel cake, graham cracker, and gingerbread, according to Nabisco.
Now that you know the correct cookie flavor, you might want to go pick up another pack before it disappears from shelves!

New Oreo flavor alert! Mystery Oreo cookies will begin appearing on shelves on Sept. 16, so put on your detective hat on.
While this limited-edition Oreo looks like the original, the cookie is hiding a flavor. When Nabisco first did a Mystery Oreo in 2017, the flavor ended up being Fruity Pebbles, so you probably don’t want to waste a guess on that one.
“Ready your mind and prepare your taste buds because the Mystery Oreo could be anything, from a combination of two current Oreo flavors to an entirely new flavor,” the brand said in a statement.
If your taste buds are on point, you could win $50,000 by submitting your guess here by Nov. 10. So if there were ever a reason to take cookies seriously, this is it. Plus, who doesn’t get excited about a new Oreo flavor?
“Clues are the key to solving any good mystery, so Oreo will be dropping plenty of helpful hints along the way,” Oreo continued. “While the first hint is in the taste of the crème, Oreo is releasing three Mystery Oreo packs with different clues on each. Eahc week, Oreo will reveal more case-solving secrets as part of the #MysteryMonday series on Oreo’s Facebook page and www.MysteryOREO.com.”

Get ready to put your taste buds to work — Mystery Oreos are coming back! The first pack of mystery cookies came out in 2017, and many people correctly guessed the crème flavor as Fruity Pebbles. Best Products heard talk that the Mystery Oreo cookies were coming back, so we reached out to a rep to clarify. The news is true, and we can confirm that a new mystery flavor is on the way!
“For now, all we can share is a confirmation that a new mystery flavor is, in fact, coming,” a rep told Best Products. They also sent over a rhyme to give us clues about the upcoming flavor.
The poem says: “We are excited to say, a new mystery is on the way. New flavor, new clues, we confirm the news. Get ready to free your inner detective, you’ll need those skills to be effective. The clues might be riddles, might be rhymes, guess the flavor, for a change to win big this time. There are many more surprises in store, keep an eye on the flip side of summer for more.”
Based on that last line, it looks like we won’t be able to get our hands on the new pack until summer is over. But it sounds like guessing correctly could lead to a prize! This is all almost too exciting to handle.
If history has taught us anything, it’s that Oreo isn’t afraid to go there, so when it comes time, think outside the box! To give you a head start, these flavors will most likely not be the mystery one — because, well, they already exist. Don’t waste your guesses on S’mores, Mint Chocolate Chip, or Marshmallow Moon.
