Must Watch: Gabriel Wibmer Blows Minds In 'Gravel Mania'

There has always been a fascination among mountain bikers to find the absolute limit of what's possible on drop bar bikes. It appears that search continues and one of the sport's finest, Gabriel Wibmer, has taken over the mantel.

The younger cousin of mountain biking's most popular YouTuber, Fabio Wibmer, is unsurprisingly also no slouch on two wheels and that talent is on full display in Gravel Mania. This is hands down one of the most creative and jaw dropping edits of this year if not last year as well. Some of the stunts in here are guaranteed to make you want to watch it again.

As many astute commentors pointed out, this edit may look familiar to anyone who was into trials riding videos about ten or so years ago. Martyn Ashton's Road Bike Party series essentially pioneered the concept of doing things you shouldn't on drop bar bikes.

It's good to see another trials wizard carrying the torch Ashton left behind because this was an incredibly fun sub-genre of bike videos that were as whimsical as they were just downright impressive.
