Telfar implements new pricing strategy
Telfar, the New York-based label that sells everyone's favorite shopping tote bag, is implementing a new pricing strategy for its upcoming drop on March 27. Through the Telfar Live Pricing format, cost fluctuates based on consumer demand. Once a collection drops, prices will "start rising from wholesale price up to retail price," according to Business of Fashion. New items will begin to drop weekly through April 24 under this format. {Business of Fashion}

Louis Vuitton teases second Yayoi Kusama drop
The Maison revealed a new star-studded campaign to tease the second drop of its exclusive collaboration with artist Yayoi Kusama, titled "Creating Infinity." The interesting mix of stars includes Lea Seydoux, Cate Blanchett, Justin Timberlake, Naomi Osaka, Hoyeon Jung and Zhou Dongyu. Photographed by Steven Meisel, the campaign continues the playful spirit of the collaboration by featuring Kusama's distinct motifs such as flowers, infinity dots, pumpkins and colorful faces. Sheertex expands into swimwear
Sheertex, a hosiery brand famous for its patent-pending technological rip-resist tights, has announced its expansion into the swimwear category. Labeled as "Watertex," the swimwear will also be crafted out of a patent-pending knit, engineered to repel water, resist damage and provide a smooth and fast-drying transition from water to land. Ruth E. Carter announces new book
Two-time Oscar-winning costume designer Ruth E. Carter is releasing a deluxe art book titled, "The Art of Ruth E. Carter: Costuming Black History and the Afrofuture, from Do the Right Thing to Black Panther." The book chronicles Carter's beginnings taking on the costume design world as a creative woman of color and her long love for history that has inspired her work. Also featured in the book are a range of visuals, from sketches to mood boards to film stills — all highlighting how Carter has transformed the artistry and narrative of the Black experience in film. Carlos Nazario named Global Artistic Director of Moose Knuckles
Stylist, fashion editor and creative consultant Carlos Nazario has taken on a new role as Moose Knuckles' global artistic director. Effectively immediately, Nazario will oversee the brand's image, collections, content, in-store presentation and marketing. "Alongside the team, we will develop a new vision for the brand across product categories and communication channels," Nazario said in a statement. "We have an incredible opportunity to broaden the scope of the brand and write the next chapter which will be rooted in modern and innovative product design and communication." {Fashionista inbox}
