The future of Olympics sponsorship rests on LVMH heir
Will LVMH land that coveted Olympics sponsorship? The future of the deal lies in the hands of Antoine Arnault, one of LVMH Chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault's five children and heirs, Mimosa Spencer reports for Reuters. The sponsorship — which would promote Louis Vuitton and Dior as well as other LVMH properties — could cost the French businessman upwards of 150 million euros. {Reuters}

Loewe previews Spring 2024 menswear collection with a short film by Luca Guadagnino
Loewe's Jonathan Anderson has teamed up with Luca Guadagnino to release "I Dreamt of LOEWE," a short film in honor of the label's upcoming Spring 2024 collection. The two-minute film features a series of models in an otherworldly dream-like sequence, set in the art exhibit Echolalia, 2010 by Austrian artist Franz West. This season's silhouettes appear as part of the vision, previewing the Loewe show that will take place on June 24 in Paris. {Fashionista inbox}

Eli Russell Linnetz, famed for designing A$AP Rocky's 2021 Met Gala quilt, is the multi-hyphenate shaking up the fashion scene, without even meaning to. Jessica Testa profiles the rising fashion designer for The New York Times, entering the world of fashion's reluctant "It" boy. While some in the industry spend their entire life chasing after fashion success, Linnetz could not be less interested. Emerging designers reconsider selling windows as budgets tighten
Young designers have begun to rethink their selling windows, opting to sell in January and June — ahead of their runway shows. The move comes as an attempt to guarantee a spot on buyers' radars, as well as allowing for delivery time and production costs amidst tighter budgets. "From a business perspective, we need to buy as much as possible in the pre-market, which is January and June. Stores have their biggest budgets [during pre-season], and also are not keen to buy emerging designers in February and September," Harry Fisher, founder of British retailer Htown, tells Vogue Business' Maliha Shoaib. {Vogue Business/paywalled}

CFDA and Genesis House announce new grant for AAPI talent
Genesis House and the CFDA have partnered to launch the CFDA | Genesis House AAPI Design + Innovation Grant. This mentorship program is dedicated to providing designers within the Asian-American and Pacific Islander community with the mentorship and funding needed to succeed. A $40,000 grant will be awarded to three rising designers to fund their design innovations during a five-month period, culminating in a public showcase at Genesis House in New York, where they'll present their designs to judges including Prabal Gurung, Jodie Turner-Smith, Fernando Garcia, Laura Kim and Alina Cho.
