Glossier is going on a college tour
Glossier is the latest brand to hit the road on a college campus tour, reports Glossy writer Sara Spruch-Feiner. The You Look Good tour, which will make stops at universities in Columbus, Nashville and Austin, is an attempt to connect with the brand's target audience — college-aged students. The tour also fits in with Glossier's newfound mission to reach customers beyond the coasts, where most of its 11 retailers are currently located. {Glossy}

Marc Jacobs' plans for expansion
Marc Jacobs, and CEO Eric Marechalle, reveal big plans for the future of the brand. From a store-opening spree in downtown Manhattan — including a sprawling new SoHo location and a Fifth Avenue flagship — to dozens of other openings around the U.S. in the next year, the brand has its sights set on expansion and a new approach to ready-to-wear collections. "For somebody who loves to go shopping, anything that takes us back into brick-and-mortar, where you can talk to the salespeople and socialize, I find a relief." {WWD/paywalled}
