    Alexander Wang will skip Pre-Fall season for anniversary celebration in spring of 2020
    For his 15th anniversary, designer Alexander Wang will forgo the Pre-Fall season with plans for an all-out anniversary celebration in the spring of 2020. As one of the first designers to move to the pre-season schedule, Wang believes this more recent decision will once again disrupt and innovate the fashion system. {Vogue}

    Brands are developing biodegradable lingerie
    As customer demand for sustainable clothing increases, brands have begun working with manufacturers to develop biodegradable fabrics for lingerie, and because consumers have started to wear lingerie beyond the bedroom, the call for sustainable pieces isn't slowing down. Though often critiqued, synthetic fabrics like elastane and polyester help give bras their shape and support, so creating similar biodegradable yet durable fabrics has been a challenge. {Vogue Business}

    The companies Karl Lagerfeld frequented lost a major patron
    When Karl Lagerfeld died in February, the fashion industry lost an icon who touched the lives of many. The impact of Lagerfeld's death not only affected fashion but also the Parisian shops the creative director frequented. Not too far from the Chanel headquarters was the "The Lagerfeld District," an area along the Tuileries and the gardens of the Champs-Élysées, where Lagerfeld often bought from local bookstores, shirt makers and florists. {The New Yorker}
