For his 15th anniversary, designer Alexander Wang will forgo the Pre-Fall season with plans for an all-out anniversary celebration in the spring of 2020. Brands are developing biodegradable lingerie
As customer demand for sustainable clothing increases, brands have begun working with manufacturers to develop biodegradable fabrics for lingerie, and because consumers have started to wear lingerie beyond the bedroom, the call for sustainable pieces isn't slowing down. Though often critiqued, synthetic fabrics like elastane and polyester help give bras their shape and support, so creating similar biodegradable yet durable fabrics has been a challenge. {Vogue Business}

Outdoor Voices opens new flagship store in New York City 
On Nov. 29, Outdoor Voices will open its first #DoingThings flagship in New York City. The shop will be located in NYC's Flatiron District and is the 10th store the company has opened. The flagship will be reminiscent of OV's Texas roots, and will feature a plant installation of species found in the Lone Star state, a snack assortment curated by grocer Erewhon and OV's Design Studio, intended to give customers a better understanding of the products. {Fashionista Inbox}

When Karl Lagerfeld died in February, the fashion industry lost an icon who touched the lives of many. The impact of Lagerfeld's death not only affected fashion but also the Parisian shops the creative director frequented. Not too far from the Chanel headquarters was the "The Lagerfeld District," an area along the Tuileries and the gardens of the Champs-Élysées, where Lagerfeld often bought from local bookstores, shirt makers and florists. {The New Yorker}

H&M collaborates with Johanna Ortiz
Fast-fashion retailer H&M has announced its next capsule collection in collaboration with Colombian designer Johanna Ortiz. Launching on Dec. 3, the pre-drop will include a tunic, minidress, wrap dress and floor-length dress and will be followed by a full line available in March of 2020. The collection will be sold in H&M stores worldwide and online. {Vogue}
