It's no secret that trying to unwind during a global pandemic can be challenging. But people have been finding creative ways to stay entertained at home with relaxing activities (think architecture-themed coloring books for adults). Now, Japanese lifestyle retailer Muji is offering a slew of virtual classes as soothing as its diffusers.

As part of Muji Workshops, Muji hosted an at-home mediation class last week on Instagram. Instructors from Sky Ting led the five-minute morning session with light stretches and meditation. Missed it? Fear not: You can watch the video below or here to participate—all you need is a comfortable space (the instructors are seated on a yoga mat) where you can follow along. It's a great way to ease into the day with a clear mind.

Muji will also lead calligraphy workshops on IGTV. Calligrapher Sam Teich will teach classes on three Fridays this month (May 8, 15, and 22). Ahead of Mother's Day, the first class will be geared toward creating a handmade gift for moms.

Lawyer-turned-calligrapher Shinah of @crookedcalligraphy will host Muji's first Zoom workshop on May 19. She'll teach the basic strokes of calligraphy techniques to create positive message cards. Though registration for the workshop went live today, unfortunately, it sold out really quickly. But you can follow Shinah on Instagram for calligraphy tips and tricks.

To participate in future Muji Workshops on Zoom and IGTV, be sure to check Muji's Instagram regularly for more announcements.
