This Amazon deal brings our favorite gaming desktop down to its lowest price yet, making it a great starting point for new PC gamers.

The Aegis RS is currently down to $1,150 on Amazon, a whopping 54% off the $2,500 price we tested our unit at. This model gets you some serious high-end specs, too, including a speedy Intel Core i7 processor, high-end Nvidia RTX 3080 graphics and a 1TB solid-state drive (SSD) with a 2TB hard drive for plenty of game storage. The one big difference between this model and our review unit is that you’re getting 16GB of memory versus 32GB, but this is otherwise a true powerhouse gaming computer at half its usual price.

MSI’s desktop earned our top spot thanks to its great overall performance, which allowed us to comfortable play modern PC games at 4K with their graphics settings cranked up. We also loved its plentiful ports, lack of bloatware and attractive design, and the fact that you get a dependable mouse and keyboard out of the box. Just know that the Aegis is big; at nearly 18 inches tall and weighing 30 pounds, you’ll need a decent amount of space in your command center for it.

There’s only one Aegis RS left in stock at this price as of this writing, so you should act fast if you’ve been in the market for a new gaming tower. However, we have seen this PC drop to similarly low prices over the past few weeks, so you may have another chance if you miss out on this deal.
