Apparel Designer at MSCHF
As an Apparel Designer Designer for MSCHF, you will be an integral part of the design team responsible for developing collection concepts and apparel designs. You will manage the design process, assist in product development, and contribute to the design direction.
About the Role:
● Collaborate with the design team to create sketches, illustrations, and technical drawings for all apparel design.
● Participate in brainstorming sessions and concept ideation to develop new and innovative designs.
● Conduct research on trends, color palettes, fabrications, and garment styles.
● Assist in sourcing and selecting appropriate fabrics, trims, and embellishments for garment prototypes and production.
● Participate in sample reviews and fit sessions to provide feedback on the fit, construction, and design details.
● Work closely with Creative Directors and work cross-functionally with the Head of Product and Technical Designer.
● Effectively communicate design concepts and ideas to team members.
● Understand and maintain the company design aesthetic and language in all products.
● Prepare trend presentations and mood boards to inform the design process.
About You:
● 4+ years of industry design experience
● Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design preferred
● Must be Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
● Must be proficient in hand sketching and Illustration
● Must be able to work independently in a fast paced environment
Compensation: $100k-$130k
