“Mozart in the Jungle” actress Saffron Burrows and her wife have a new baby daughter

We’re still applauding Mozart in the Jungle for being such a great show, but now we’re giving a standing ovation to its cellist. IRL, that “cellist,” actress Saffron Burrows, and her wife had a baby, reported E! News. It’s a girl, Daisy Alice Winnie Balian-Burrows, and she was born on January 23rd.

Saffron revealed she was pregnant back in September; ironically, she showed off her baby bump at the premiere of Bridget Jones’s Baby. She and her wife, Alison Balian, a writer for The Ellen DeGeneres Show, have a son also, and Burrows gave birth to him in 2010.

Btw, Burrows and Balian have been together for nine years, and were married in a secret ceremony in August of 2011, reported People. ICYMI, that’s two months after the Supreme Court passed the Marriage Equality Act. Awww — again!

As for a picture of Daisy herself, Saffron and Balian tend to be private when it comes to their personal lives, according to People. We completely respect that. However, we can just imagine how adorable Daisy must be and hope to see pics in the near future.
