Johnny Depp is being called out at the Cannes Film Festival.

Cast and crew members of Le Ravissement took to the film festival stage on Saturday, May 20 to promote the new movie before screening it for the press–and they made a huge statement while doing it.

Some of the cast and crew were seen on stage wearing t-shirts with Amber Heard's face on them, seemingly showing support for her after the Cannes film festival honored Depp, Heard's ex-husband and alleged abuser. For those who missed it, Depp's new film, Jeanne du Barry, kicked off the 76th Cannes Film Festival with its debut.

Many people took to Twitter to weigh in on the cast and crew's show of support, including one user who tweeted an image of the group and wrote, "cast of le ravissement wore t-shirts with amber heard photo on cannes stage!!!!!!!"

"The French having more balls than all of Hollywood by publicly standing in solidarity with a victim at a festival honoring her abuser. This is how it’s done," another user wrote above a photo of a crew members shirt reading, "I stand with Amber Heard."

Unsurprisingly, this isn't the first mention of Depp's past legal battle with his ex-wife at Cannes. During a press conference for Jeanne du Barry, Depp was asked if he still felt "boycotted" by Hollywood, a comment he made back in 2021 amid his defamation trial with Heard.

He responded: "You'd have to not have a pulse at that point to feel like, 'No, none of this is happening. This is actually just a weird joke. You've been asleep for 35 years.'"

"Of course, you know, when you're asked to resign from a film you're doing because of something that is merely a bunch of vowels and consonants floating in the air, yeah, you feel a bit boycotted," he went on.

"Do I feel boycotted now? No, not at all. But, I don't feel boycotted by Hollywood because I don't think about it," he said. "I don't think about Hollywood. I don't have much further need for Hollywood."
