Moveable Feast, a 10-episode series produced by GBH and Arena Media Brands, is back on Public Television starting on October 14, 2023. The show takes viewers on a culinary journey of discovery and fun, transporting them to diverse regions all over the U.S. to explore vibrant food cultures. For Season 10 of the show, host Alex Thomopoulos teams up with some of the most innovative chefs and influencers to create spontaneous feasts in unique settings.

Food-loving viewers get to know the chefs and influencers, their journeys, and what inspires them. You’ll get insider info about where chefs source their local ingredients, how a dish is born and what goes into planning a menu, plus you’ll pick up cooking tips and techniques and cheffy secrets along the way.

Viewers will also get to meet the people who supply top-notch ingredients to chefs, then watch the creativity that’s sparked when Alex and her guests join forces to create a one-of-a-kind meal, from a farm-to-table feast in Eugene, Oregon, to a rooftop party in San Diego. It’s a culinary jam-fest you won’t want to miss!

Asian Feast: San Diego, CA
In San Diego, celebrate the Asian communities that call this city home. Chefs Phillip Esteban, David Sim and Holly Haines introduce their own spin on Asian cuisine, which ends with a feast at the Olivewood Gardens and Learning Center.

Fort Jones, CA
In rural northern California, attend “Farm School” at California Heritage Farms, where Niki and Rich Harris specialize in pasture-raised heritage pork. Then, the Heffernan family grills up a feast at Five Marys Farms.

Mexican Feast: San Deigo, CA
In sunny San Diego, Chefs Priscilla Curiel and Juan Gomez create innovative spins on traditional Mexican dishes. Everyone gathers at the Kettner Exchange to enjoy pan-seared mackerel and chiles en nogada at a rooftop party.

Malibu, CA
In Malibu, Alex Thomopoulos and local chefs Oren Zroya and Catherine McCord visit the Thorne Family Farm to gather fresh produce and fish and forage for local ingredients. The day ends with a homegrown feast you won’t want to miss!

In Eugene, Oregon, meet chefs Stephanie Kimmel and Crystal Platt, who are known for their farm-to-table cuisine. Then, visit Antiquum Farm for a delectable menu of grand aioli, pork belly with pinot jam and frangipane baked by chef Natalie Dutton.

In Salt Lake City, meet chefs Viet Pham, Dave Jones and Lavanya Mahate. Then, visit the New Roots community gardening program, which helps refugees and explore the world of fungi at Wonderlands Mushroom Company.

In Newport, Rhode Island, celebrate local seafood with chefs Kevin O’Donnell, Michael Faccidomo and Noah Kvochick. Menu standouts include squid ink calamari, Thai lobster with coconut chili butter and pastries from local bakery Le Bec Sucre.

Santa Barbara, CA
In Santa Barbara, Alex joins farm-to-table chefs Jaime Riesco and Brendan Smith as they source local uni and gather farm-fresh produce at the outdoor market. The day ends with a feast featuring wild seabass ceviche withs sea urchins.

Boston, MA
Explore Boston with chefs Valentine Howell and Yahya Noor as they embark on a culinary tour that includes sea scallops, artisanal spirits and fresh produce. The day ends with a delicious feast of seared scallops and fava bean stew.

Park City, UT
In Park City, chefs Alex Malmborg and Zeke Wray introduce the best of Utah’s agricultural bounty. Meet the cheesemakers at Gold Creek Farms, then visit the Sugar House Distillery. Finally, it’s a feast at the Park City Mountain Resort.
