Update, August 4, 2020 10:37 a.m.: It's officially here! Mountain Dew confirmed to us this week that its new raspberry lemonade flavor Mountain Dew Spark will be available at more than 2,000 Speedway locations in the U.S. this summer.

It's only available for a limited time though, so I would act quickly if you want to try it...and you know you do! If you don't happen to live near one of those locations, daily winners will also be selected to receive their very own free case of the drink by visiting www.yearofdew.com.

Original, July 19, 2020 12:46 p.m.: Mountain Dew continues to outdo itself when it comes to exciting new releases of colors and flavors. As of late, we've been blessed the bright red-orange Southern Shock, which includes a blast of tropical punch flavor; the return of the midnight blue-toned Liberty Brew, which claims to combine 50 different flavors in one single drink; and the introduction of the icy blue Frost Bite, which tastes like cool melon.

It was only a matter of time until before we were blessed with one more new flavor, so please clap for Mountain Dew Spark. The label sports a black-and-white checkered border and a ferocious-looking race car with teeth. It may come as no surprise then that this new flavor is reportedly on sale exclusively at Speedway gas stations, according to a post from Instagrammer @dadbodsnacks (who gathered his intel from the Mountain Dew subreddit).

The new beverage serves up traditional Dew flavor with a blast of raspberry lemonade, and nothing says summer quite like an ice-cold lemonade. The liquid itself a burgundy-orange color. According to the bottle, this is a limited edition, so you better race to a Speedway and grab one while you can.

If you don't have a Speedway near you and are looking for another summery Mountain Dew flavor to sink your teeth into, don't forget that the brand made Maui Burst a permanent addition earlier this year. The sweet drink is loaded with bursts of pineapple flavor. @Dadbodsnacks called it a "a mellow pineapple/citrus flavor that still holds true to the classic Dew flavor."
