The New Mountain Dew Vibe Is Here to Add a Hint of Lemon Flavor to Your Soda
It looks like we’ll be drinking PepsiCo’s Mountain Dew all summer long, because we have a new flavor that screams warm weather. Mountain Dew Vibe has low-key popped up in restaurant beverage dispensers with a fruity twist on the beloved soda.
Mountain Dew is no stranger to exclusive flavors. Just before summer 2019, Mountain Dew Lightning hit KFC and Mountain Dew Southern Shock debuted at Bojangles for summer 2020. It looks like this is becoming a trend, and now Mountain Dew Vibe is available at Which Wich Superior Sandwiches (the chain has locations in 37 states) in time for summer 2021.
The name of the bright yellow soda makes sense, because Which Wich has a Vibe Club Rewards program that allows members to collect points to earn a free sandwich. So the “vibe” name connects to the brand, and we wouldn’t be surprised if it really is only available there. As described on the signs, it’s “DEW Charged with Lemon Flavor & Other Natural Flavors.”
Mountain Dew has yet to officially announce the new flavor, but it appears that it’s only available at Which Wich and won’t be coming out in bottles or cans. But if you can get to one of the 37 states that have the restaurant — including on the East Coast and West Coast, as well as in the South and Midwest — you can get a cupful.
