Sometimes the best Mountain Dew news isn’t about a new flavor, but a returning favorite. Although you can get Mountain Dew Baja Blast (and the Zero Sugar version) as a fountain drink at Taco Bell year-round, its return to stores allows us to stock up to drink whenever we please!

The tropical lime-flavored beverage first came out as a Taco Bell exclusive in 2004. It received an icy makeover with the Mountain Dew Baja Blast Freeze and, just last year, the Baja Blast Birthday Freeze was added to the menu. While the regular Baja Blast has popped up here and there in stores, the limited availability means that there’s only a window of time to get your hands on it.

Here’s your chance to stock up on plenty of Mountain Dew Baja Blast once again! The soda is back in stores for what will probably be a limited time again. Many people began finding the Baja Blast at the end of February/early March 2020 at Walmart locations — however, it has also been spotted at Target, Wawa, and Meijer, indicating that it’s not store-exclusive.

Even more good news is that Mountain Dew Baja Blast Zero Sugar is also available on shelves. Just like the regular Mountain Dew Zero Sugar, you can expect a huge cut in the amount of sugar you typically find in the soda.

You can find the returning flavor in 12-packs of 12-ounce cans, and 20-ounce single bottles and multipacks. Remember, they probably won’t be available forever, so stock up on those multipacks! The last thing you want is to be craving Mountain Dew Baja Blast at the end of the year and realizing you didn’t stock up.
