This New Motorized Baby Yoda Toy Can Eat, Move, and Interact With You
Grogu, aka The Child, has been popping up in a range of products, but nothing beats the adorable creature himself. You may have already snagged the adorable Baby Yoda plush, but now you can get something more interactive that will feel like he’s as alive as it can get.
The new Galactic Snackin’ Grogu from Hasbro is coming out this year just before Christmas, so you know it’s going to be topping wish lists. The 9.25-inch-tall animatronic toy is an updated version of the 7.2-inch moving Baby Yoda toy. The biggest difference here is that you get to interact with the beloved character more.
The toy comes with four interactive accessories, which are a bowl with tentacles, cookie, shifter knob, and spoon. When you place any of them in Grogu’s hand, he will react to it with animations and sound effects. It also has motorized movements, including eyes that open and close and a head, ears, and arms that move.
“We saw Grogu eating his way through the galaxy in Season 2 of The Mandalorian on Disney+ and we couldn’t resist the opportunity to bring those memorable moments to life. We looked at a lot of different ways to interact with the character and the concept of snacking opened up many fun ideas for our design and development team to create an all-new interactive experience,” Vickie Stratford, senior design director, Habro, told StarWars.com.
You can preorder Hasbro’s Galactic Snackin’ Grogu on Amazon for $79.99. The toy will be released on Dec. 1, 2021, so it should arrive to you just in time to make someone’s holiday season extra special.
