Mother tells cop 'I will f***ing kill you' after she brought a booze-filled sippy cup to the movies with her 5-year-old son: Report

Life Hack: Fill your child’s sippy cup with alcohol and bring it into the movies! They’ll never check! honestly sounds like terrible advice you would find on a Wine Mom Facebook page, but, alas, that is precisely what one Georgia mother is accused of doing — and police issued a warrant for her arrest on Wednesday.

Kristina Gibson “filled her 5-year-old son’s sippy cup with a strong alcoholic beverage and became intoxicated in the theater,” according to an arrest warrant obtained by the Atlanta-Journal Constitution. It is also believed that Gibson may have used prescription drugs along with the alcohol at the Merchants Walk Stadium Cinemas in Marietta, Ga., on Monday.

During the movie, Gibson’s son started to cry and annoyed other moviegoers, local Atlanta, Ga., news station WSB-TV reported. The patrons complained about the child and Gibson not tending to him. She was asked to leave the theater. Employees of the theater attempted to prevent her from entering her car with her son, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and called the police.

When officers with Cobb County Police Department arrived, one officer tried to zip Gibson’s purse. Police said she then told the officer, “I will f***ing kill you.” Gibson was so drunk or high that she could no longer walk, talk, or take care of her son, police said.

Gibson was not arrested on the scene, but taken to the hospital for treatment, Cobb County Police Sgt. Wayne Delk told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

According to the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office, Gibson was taken into custody on Wednesday, the same day her warrant was issued. She has since been released after posting bail. She will face charges of reckless endangerment and public intoxication.

The Cobb County Police Department did not immediately respond to Yahoo Lifestyle’s requests for comment.
