Mother Searches For Daughter Who She Says Was Lured Into Child Sex Trafficking Years Ago

Robyn says her 15-year-old daughter, Kristen Galvan, ran away from home three years ago. Robyn claims Aryion Jackson, an up-and-coming Houston rapper at the time, lured Kristen and other girls away from home. “They would try to coerce their victims with bags and shoes and clothes – and no more parents yelling at you; a lifestyle of the rich and famous,” claims Robyn. Robyn says that after a desperate search, police found her daughter on a Houston street notorious for prostitution. She claims the rapper and known gang member had drawn Kristen into the world of child sex trafficking, where she was one of a dozen girls he kept in a house and sold for sex. “The light was gone from my daughter’s eyes,” says Robyn. “Kristen was forced to sleep with 15-plus men a day for money.” Kristen was rescued from the streets, but Robyn’s relief was short-lived. Two and a half weeks later, on January 2, 2020, Kristen disappeared again and has been missing ever since. “It’s every parent’s worst nightmare,” says Robyn. She says she’s run out of leads, but she’s still holding out for a miracle. This episode of Dr. Phil, "Missing in the Dark World of Sex Trafficking,” airs Monday. And later, Dr. Phil talks to a private investigator who says Kristen’s disappearance haunts her. Check your local listing for airtimes.
