Mother’s Cookies Has a New Sparkling Mythical Creature Variety Hitting Shelves Now

It’s hard to believe that we first heard about Mother’s Sparkling Mythical Creature Cookies months ago, but now Best Products can exclusively confirm that they’re coming to shelves … today!
The cookies come in mermaid, unicorn, dragon, and sea serpent shapes, as opposed to the typical circus animals. Each bite is covered in Mother’s iconic icing in white or lavender colors and topped with sparkling glitter sprinkles.
The Mother’s Sparkling Mythical Creature Cookies are officially available at Target and Albertsons today in 9-ounce bags for $3.49. On March 8, they’ll be rolling out at Walmart in an 18-count multipack for $6.99. Let the snack begin!

Were you ever really a kid if you didn’t have Mother’s Circus Animal Cookies? While we’ve been munching on the new Halloween variety, soon we’ll have another one to try that is a whole lot more magical. The countdown is on for us to get our hands on the Sparkling Mythical Creature Cookies.
Instead of the typical circus animal-shaped treats, the new Mother’s variety will feature cookies in the shape of mermaids, unicorns, loch ness monsters, and dragons. Hey, they’re mythical creatures after all! Each cookie is covered in white or lavender icing and topped with sparkling silver sanding sugar. They’re different (in a good way) from the bright pink icing that you’re used to.
“What we learned with the Mother’s consumers of Circus Animals is kids are playing with the crackers themselves, with the animal shapes … so we’re using that as our jumping off point for inspiration,” Natalie Hagstrom, general manager of the cookies, crusts, and cones portfolio at Ferrara Candy Co., said in a press release.
The good news is that we won’t have to wait too long for the Mother’s Sparkling Mythical Creature Cookies. They’re expected to arrive early next year, so we’ll be enjoying our unicorn cookies in no time.
