These Are the Most Popular Types of Easter Candy in Every State

Easter is just over a week away, and most Americans would agree that one of the best parts of the holiday is seeing baskets brimming with sweet treats. Two recent studies have revealed the most popular Easter candies across the country. According to a RetailMeNot customer survey, 26 percent of Americans ranked Reese's Mini Peanut Butter Eggs as their favorite Easter candy, closely followed by Jelly Beans, which received 24 percent of the votes. 20 percent of Americans favorite Cadbury Crème Eggs, which are known for their thick chocolate shell and soft fondant center, whereas 16 percent chose chocolate bunnies as their favorite Easter candy.

Despite the nostalgic feel that they offer, Peeps were the least popular candy, with only 14 percent of the vote. This survey also revealed that 77 percent of Americans plan to spend up to $50 on Easter candy this year and only 6 percent expect to spend more than $200.
