Where do long-nosed dog breeds come from?

Long noses are also more aerodynamic, helping breeds that often sprint or hunt get moving faster. Afghan Hound
The Afghan Hound is one of the oldest dog breeds. Originating in Afghanistan, the breed was brought to Europe in the 1800s. They are primarily used as hunting hounds, but also make stylish companions with their long, flowing locks of hair.
Bloodhound

Saluki
