The Liberty Hotel, Boston, Massachusetts

The Liberty Hotel may not have been pet friendly back in 1851 (when it was the Charles Street Jail), but since the former clinger is now one of Boston's most unique luxury hotels, two pets of any size are welcome for an additional fee of $100 per stay. Four-legged guests receive treats, a bed and bowls at check-in, but they're really just there for the Yappier Hours held every Monday and Wednesday from 5:30 pm until 8 pm in the Courtyard. Pampered pouches are treated to a doggy-themed cocktail menu and treats at the outdoor bar, so be sure to check in after April 11th when the season kicks off.

Rosewood Washington D.C. in Washington, D.C.

When in D.C. with your pooch, consider the Rosewood Washington, D.C. for their sweet offering for sassy sidekicks: they welcome two dogs per room weighing less than 50 lbs. Your furry friends are gifted a dog bed, food bowl and a dog-friendly amenity to use while on property and they also offer customized pet sitting, walks, overnight stays and more, through an on-site, third-party provider. Viceroy L'Ermitage, Beverly Hills, California

Le Barthélemy, St. Barths

The captivating island of St. Bart’s is currently open to US travelers and best in class resort, Le Barthelemy Hotel & Spa, welcomes pets, in addition to humans looking to vacation in private. The Rittenhouse, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Located on Philadelphia’s iconic Rittenhouse Square, The Rittenhouse is an award-winning hotel of choice for the sophisticated traveler and their furry best friend. VIPs (Very Important Pooches) receive a complimentary personalized pet bowl and dog goodies prepared by the hotel's pastry chef upon check-in, and they can enjoy a special BONE Appétit menu throughout their stay. For $125 a night, you'll get in-room dog beds and food bowls, access to dog walking services by Wagtime DC (walks + babysitting) and chef-prepared dog meals (such as air chilled chicken with brown rice and apple, or ranch-raised beef with caramelized onions and mashed potatoes). Sounds pretty swanky to us. The Watergate is also launching an exhibit in partnership with the American Kennel Club's Museum of the Dog that will showcase Presidential art and memorabilia tied to their pets from FDR’s Falah, Nixon’s Checkers, Laura Bush’s beloved Miss Beazley and more.

The Gates Hotel Key West is the first boutique hotel at the entry point of Key West and laid-back pups will love the relaxed vibes at the hotel. Every dog is welcomed with a Pooch Box at check-in and guests can bring their wet nosed besties to an onsite YappyHour that raises money for the Keys SPCA, a local non-profit dedicated to the protection of abandoned dogs. Mondrian South Beach, Miami, Florida

Mondrian South Beach caters to artsy dogs who will be mesmerized by endless views of Biscayne Bay and Dutch designer Marcel Wanders' whimsical "Sleeping Beauty’s Castle” design. They'll love snoozing under the larger than life cabanas, chairs and lamps and sniffing around the lobby's signature floating staircase.
