FBI: Most Wanted is a CBS crime drama centered around a Fugitive Task Force for the Federal Bureau of Investigation as they pursue and capture the criminals on the FBI’s Most Wanted list. It has an ensemble cast led by Dylan McDermott, who plays Special Agent Remy Scott—and, oh yeah, its fanbase is huge. Here is everything to know about FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 so far.

How did FBI: Most Wanted Season 4 end?

FBI: Most Wanted Season 4 ended on May 23, 2023. The episode centered around Remy's search for his brother’s real killer from 25 years before. (Remy discovered his brother, Mikey, was actually murdered by one of the friends he went with to Fort Lauderdale on spring break.) With the team’s help, the real killer was apprehended.

In the process, Remy also discovered that his brother had fathered a child and was able to meet his nephew, ending the season on a poignant note.

Will there be a Season 5 of FBI: Most Wanted?

Fans can relax: The series was renewed for Seasons 4 and 5 back in May 2022.

How will the writers strike affect Season 5 of FBI: Most Wanted?

Technically, the writers strike, which began on May 1, 2023, has already impacted FBI: Most Wanted. Picketers from the strike and supporting unions interrupted the filming of its Season 4 finale for a couple hours on May 11, 2023, when the production was targeted by the WGA’s Rapid Response Team. However, production was only temporarily paused and the finale still aired on May 23, 2023.

We don't know yet how, if at all, the strike will impact the fifth season of the series. If the strike goes on for much longer, however, it's likely to delay the show's premiere.
