These Are the Most Googled Celebrity Homes in the World

If you find yourself constantly googling the homes of your favorite celebrities, you're not alone. I mean, who wouldn't want to know where Tom and Gisele Brady reside, or what the Kardashian's many properties look like. Here at House Beautiful, we often comb through celebrity house tour videos and photos ourselves. Sometimes it's for work, but most of the time it's because we’re insanely curious about [insert celebrity name]'s style and would love to be invited over for dinner (just maybe not at Dr. Phil's former home) to poke around. We're sure you can relate. As it turns out, some A-lister homes get a lot more attention than others.

The folks at Rated People, a popular UK platform that connects homeowners with local tradespeople, wanted to see which celebrity homes were getting keyed into Google the most worldwide. To conduct this research, the team took hundreds of the most well-known people in the world, from actors to influencers, and analyzed Google search data to see how many users were searching for that celebrity's home in particular. Here’s what they found.

Coming in as the number one most-searched for celebrity home the world is the Los Angeles dwelling of Kim Kardashian. The minimalist-style, Axel Vervoordt-designed home where she lives with husband, Kanye West, and their four children garnered a lot of attention after landing the cover of AD earlier this year. It also gained buzz for its massive playroom and countless fridges.

Right behind Kardashian is her step-sister, Kylie Jenner, who purchased her first property when she was only 17 (we rounded up all nine of Jenner's lavish properties here.) Much like Kardashian, Jenner frequently shows her home on her social media platforms as well as in her vlogs. Jenner is tied for second place with award-winning actor and rapper Will Smith.

The team dove a little bit deeper into search data, to see how the United States most searched for celebrity stacked up against the world’s.

While Tom Brady's home is the sixth most searched-for in the world, it's the top contender when it comes to America. The athlete's cozy Brookline, Massachusetts, mansion—which he shares with wife Gisele Bündchen— is actually on the market right now, which may have generated some buzz for it (you can learn more here).

Kardashian takes second place in the U.S., followed by makeup mogul Jeffree Star. Star gave a tour of his nearly $15 million property earlier in 2020. It features a 16-car garage, a movie theater, and a "beauty barn."

The homes of the royals also rack up quite the search volume. Here's which homes are getting the most attention online.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle take the first and second spots respectively. This may reflect their recent move to the United States. Following the pair is Prince William, who of course lives in Kensington Palace with his family and spends some time at the Sandringham Estate.
