The Most Dramatic Reality TV Feuds *Ever* Have Our Heads Spinning

At this point, the only guilt we, the people, should feel about watching reality shows is when we miss a night of iconic television in favor of, like, hanging out with real people. We're truly living in the golden age of reality TV, with shows that simply won't stop giving. I mean, Bravo is genuinely ~The Little Engine That Could~ when it comes to churning out drama, stoically firing up their cameras when they're not even in season just to give us the content we crave—and the Kardashians are on another level when it comes to their new aesthetic on Hulu. It's not not cinema!

But obviously the real treasures of any given reality show are the friends feuds we made witness along the way—many of which seem to have Lisa Rinna at the heart of them, but we'll get to that in a minute. While the number of fights we've seen on fave shows, like Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Southern Charm, Summer House, Real Housewives of Potomac, The Hills, Vanderpump Rules, and Keeping Up with the Kardashians reach numbers that I, personally, cannot count to, we've rounded up 40 classic reality show feuds that have taken up permanent residency in our brains. Like...if you don't remember where you were when you heard the words "You stole my goddamn house, Kyle," you simply haven't lived.

On that dramatic note, here's an appropriately dramatic roundup.

Countess Luann and Alex McCord: 'RHOBH'

Countess Luann and Alex "Lives in Brooklyn" McCord had drama throughout Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but their most iconic showdown came when Luann insulted Alex's Louis Vuitton shoes with this fourth-degree burn: "Even Louis Vuitton makes mistakes."

Ashley Jacobs and Kathryn Dennis: 'Southern Charm'

On top of calling Kathryn an "egg donor," Ashley said Kathryn's kids with Thomas Ravenel (who Kathryn was dating at the time) "weren't planned on" during an absolutely explosive fight. Hard to come back from that, tbh.

Bethenny Frankel and Jill Zarin: 'RHONY'

Despite starting Real Housewives of New York as close friends, Bethenny and Jill had a huge blowout in season three, when Bethenny infamously told Jill to "get a hobby." Jill went on to call Bethenny a "nobody" who "couldn't sell a cupcake in a grocery store."

Bethenny Frankel and Kelly Bensimon: 'RHONY'

Bethenny and Kelly never got along on RHONY, but things reached their peak when, during "Scary Island," Kelly said, "She's not a chef, she's a cook," and claimed Bethenny was "trying to kill her." Bethenny, meanwhile, called Kelly "cuckoo for cocoa puffs" and screamed "GO TO SLEEP."

Blac Chyna and the Kardashians: 'The Kardashians'

I mean, anyone else remember when Blac Chyna sued the Kardashians for defamation and for interfering with her reality TV contract? Truly wild times, which were inevitably covered on The Kardashians in a truly meta moment.

Gizelle Bryant and Candiace Dillard Bassett: 'RHOP'

Things blew up between these two during Real Housewives of Potomac season seven, when Gizelle implied on camera that Candiace's husband made her uncomfortable during a private convo. When Gizelle brought up her concerns with Candiace, Candiace walked off camera and said, "If it's going to be about maligning my fucking husband, you don't want me here."

Candiace Dillard Bassett and Monique Samuels: 'RHOP'

Candiace and Monique's friendship blew up a when Monique claimed Candiace was spreading rumors about her love life (specifically, a rumor that Monique was sleeping with her trainer) and things got physical. As in, they had a straight-up physical fight on camera.

Lindsay Hubbard and Danielle Olivera: 'Summer House'

This feud reached its deranged peak when Carl planned his proposal to Lindsay and made the mistake of not giving Danielle a heads up, which she took....extremely personally. Like...weeping all over the house in dismay, could barely pretend to be happy at the engagement party...personally.

Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag: 'The Hills'

I mean, I think we all know what Lauren and Heidi's feud was about. The man, the myth, the hummingbird-loving, crystal collecting legend that is Spencer Pratt. And who could possibly forget the exact words Lauren is shouting here? ("YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID!")

James Kennedy vs The Toms: 'Vanderpump Rules'

Vibes between James Kennedy and Tom Schwartz got super tense, thanks to Schwartz kissing James's ex, Raquel Leviss, in Vegas—but James really lost it with the Toms during Scandoval. And when we say "lost it," we mean he called Tom a "poo poo head" and a "worm with a mustache." Not even Shakespeare could come up with that prose!

Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari: 'Laguna Beach'

For the most part, Lauren and Kristin's drama was about–what else?—a guy. (I mean, they were rival high school popular girls, after all.) And not just any guy. THE Stephen Colletti. (I should note that they did squash their beef–and even exchanged apologies!—on Kristin and Stephen's Back to the Beach podcast in 2022.)

Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian: 'KUWTK'

Yes, I am aware that Taylor Swift isn't on, nor has she ever been on, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. But her feud with Kim (which was really about her feud with Kanye, let's be honest) occupied *several* episodes and, therefore, counts. Leave it up to Tay to be the main character even when she's not even on a show!

Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian: 'KUWTK'

I mean, for starters, Kim told Kourt she's the "least interesting to look at." But who could forget when they got into a physical brawl and they left a foundation stain on poor Khloé's wall?

Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian Again: 'The Kardashians'

Kim and Kourtney's most recent feud involves Kourtney accusing Kim of stealing her ~wedding vibes~ by doing a collection with Dolce & Gabbana? Followed by Kim saying that Kourt stole her "wedding country." I...want to relate, but...I simply cannot.

Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards: 'RHOBH'

Lisa and Kyle were friends for a full decade, but everything changed when Kyle accused Lisa of leaking a story to the press, saying Dorit's adopted dog had ended up at a kill shelter. Lisa—who was dubbed a "puppet master"—couldn't get over the betrayal and left the show. Also, we can't forget Ken yelling “GOODBYE KYLE” while holding the no-longer-living legend known as Giggy.

Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga: 'RHONJ'

Truly shocked that it's taken us this long to arrive at Real Housewives of New Jersey, but here we are! For the uninitiated, Teresa and Melissa are sisters-in-law (Melissa is married to Teresa's brother, Joe Gorga), and they've been beefing for years. Over the seasons, Teresa has accused Melissa of being a "gold digger," speculated about her being a former stripper, and excluded Melissa from her wedding party. Meanwhile, Melissa didn't attend Teresa's wedding or send a gift. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie: 'The Simple Life'

Paris and Nicole had major drama in 2005, and the rumor was that Nicole had screened Paris's sex tape at a party. But they got over it and are currently relationship status: sliving.

Snooki and Angelina: 'Jersey Shore'

We'd be here forever if we detailed every Jersey Shore feud, but as far as this one goes: TLDR, Snooki called Angelina "sloppy seconds" when she hooked up with Vinny Guadagnino and then they had a physical fight that led to Angelina leaving the show. They eventually made up, only to have the vibes once again killed when Snooki gave an infamous bridesmaid speech with Jwoww, calling Angelina "the fly to our sh*t" and "the throw-up to our hangover."

Teresa Giudice and Danielle Staub: 'RHONY'

Let's see! During season one, Teresa flipped a table and called Danielle a "prostitution whore." They somehow managed to make up and become friends after this, but things got dramatic again when Teresa freaked out at Danielle for revealing that Teresa had told her to pull Margaret Joseph's ponytail.

P.S. I realize the past few sentences have been...a lot...but legitimately, there's no other way to describe it.

Kim Richards and Kyle Richards: 'RHOBH'

I mean, they're sisters, so it's complicated, but nothing beats Kim and Kyle's blowout fight in the limo, wherein Kim screamed, "You stole my goddamn house, Kyle." Which, you can buy written a shirt over on Etsy if you're feeling inspired.

Lisa Vanderpump and Dorit Kemsley: 'RHOBH'

#PuppyGate TLDR: Dorit adopted a dog at Vanderpump Dog Center and then re-homed her, but tabloid reports emerged saying said puppy went to a kill shelter. The entire cast pretty much accused Lisa of orchestrating the whole thing (and leaking the story), and Lisa and Dorit ended their friendship over it. A mess!

Phaedra Parks and Kandi Burruss: 'RHOA'

Things between Phaedra and Kandi had been tense for a moment, but things got real awkward when Kandi accused Phaedra of cheating on her ex, Apollo, prior to his jail sentence. THEN, Phaedra admitted to spreading a wild rumor about Kandi that we won't be repeating here and was fired from the show...the end!

Porsha Williams and Kenya Moore: 'RHOA'

These two have had a lot of drama over the years, but who could forget the fallout from Porsha accidentally referring to Miss USA winner Kenya Moore as "Miss America." Un! Forgivable!

Raquel Leviss and Ariana Madix: 'Vanderpump Rules'

The month? March. The vibe? Florals for spring, but also betrayal. The only topic society was willing to discuss? Ariana Madix finding out her best friend Raquel Leviss was having an affair with her longtime boyfriend, Tom Sandoval...aka SCANDOVAL.

Danielle Staub and Margaret Josephs: 'RHONJ'

Let's see: 1) Margaret poured a bottle of water onto Danielle's head, 2) Danielle put the contents of Margaret's purse into a lit candle, 3) Danielle grabbed Margaret's ponytail (which, as we've already discussed, led to her falling out with Teresa).

Lisa Rinna and Kathy Hilton: 'RHOBH'

Who could forget when Lisa ordered a round of her "friend Kendall Jenner's" tequila when Kathy had her own damn tequila brand? When Kathy's sister, Kyle Richards, didn't step in and defend her, Mrs. Hilton had a full-on meltdown. She *allegedly* called her castmates "fucking peons" and told Lisa "I will fucking ruin Kyle." Lisa, naturally, shared said comments with the entire cast, and the rest is history.

Lisa Rinna and Yolanda Hadid: 'RHOBH'

Yolanda Hadid suffered from Lyme disease for much of her time on RHOBH, and Lisa incorrectly—and very problematically—speculated that she had Munchausen's syndrome. The entire thing was a mess, and Yolanda ended up quitting the show.

Lisa Rinna and Camille Grammar: 'RHOBH'

After Camille went off on Twitter and called her costars a "coven of witches," Lisa confronted her at a gala and called her an "asshole." Months later, when Camille came for Erika Girardi, Lisa doubled down, tweeting, "Oh someone needs some attention ok sweetie..#YouAreStillAnA–holeOnTwitter."

Kristen Doute and Ariana Madix: 'VPR'

Before the days of Scandoval, Tom Sandoval was apparently busy cheating on Kristen Doute with Ariana Madix. It came out after Tom and Kristen had broken up, but obviously didn't do wonders for Kristen's relationship with Ariana. Things got even more tense when Kristen claimed Tom cheated on Ariana with "Miami Girl" ....which...we recently found out...he did!

Madison LeCroy and Olivia Flowers: 'Southern Charm'

Less a feud, and more an exchange of sassy Instagram captions, but basically, Olivia and Austen Kroll went on a date to a Kathryn Dennis's birthday, and Austen got all kinds of distracted when Madison (a.k.a. his ex) showed up. This prompted Olivia to say. "We shouldn't be going on our first date and talking about homegirl." Madison shot back, saying, "I'd rather be a homegirl than a homely girl," and then OLIVIA shot back with a picture of herself in a robe at home with this caption: "Homely? More like homebody."

Honestly, I'm living just recounting this tale.

Chrishell Stause and Nicole Young: 'Selling Sunset'

Chrishell and Nicole's drama started with Nicole accusing Chrishell of getting special treatment from Jason Oppenheim because they were dating and ended with Chrishell accusing Nicole of doing drugs—which prompted Nicole to threaten a lawsuit. Welpity welp.

Christine Quinn and Emma Hernan: 'Selling Sunset'

Christine had drama with most of her fellow cast members, but things with Emma escalated to the point where Emma accused Christine of bribing one of her clients not to work with her. Christine left the show shortly after—though she claims it was her decision.

Katie Maloney and Scheana Shay: 'VPR'

Katie felt like Scheana was Team Schwartz in their divorce, and things only got worse when Schwartz made out with Raquel at Scheana's wedding in Mexico (where Katie insisted on vacationing, even though she wasn't invited). But they've since patched things up!

Danielle Olivera and Ciara Miller: 'Summer House'

Basically, Austen Kroll and Lindsay Hubbard made out, which upset Ciara, due to her ~vibes~ with Austen during Winter House. Danielle took Lindsay's side (this was obviously pre their feud) and Ciara was so incensed, she threw a glass of wine in Danielle's face. Normal stuff!

Lisa Vanderpump and Teddi Mellencamp: 'RHOBH'

Hi, yeah, sorry, not done talking about #puppygate. Teddi accused Lisa of purposefully having her employees bring up Dorit's dog drama as a way to make Dorit look bad and spread gossip without getting her hands dirty. And all of this ICONICALLY led Lisa's husband, Ken, to print out some texts in the largest font ever, which seemingly proved Teddi was the one who orchestrated the #puppygate drama.

Marlo Hampton and Kandi Burruss: 'RHOA'

This started when Marlo felt Kandi wasn't respectful enough about her nephew's tragic murder—especially since he used to work for Kandi. Marlo was especially offended that Kandi didn't send flowers, prompting Kandi to muse *checks notes* "fuck her flowers."

Meredith Marks and Lisa Barlow: 'RHOSLC'

Kay, so basically, Lisa claimed Meredith was spreading rumors that she was having an affair. Plus, Lisa thought Meredith been part of the ~sinister plot~ to expose said affair by getting Lisa and the man in question in the same room together. Meredith ended up tweeting “LISA, I KNEW NOTHING ABOUT THAT MAN OR ANYTHING ABOUT YOU HAVING AN AFFAIR WITH HIM AT WHITNEY’S WILD ROSE PARTY,” to which Lisa simply responded "you're unhinged." ❤️

Oh, also, is now a good time to mention that Lisa was caught on a hot mic saying all sorts of...reallyyy not great things about Meredith?

Denise Richards and Lisa Rinna: 'RHOBH'

So, Denise left RHOBH after rumors spread that she had an affair with Brandi Glanville. Denise was extremely firm about the rumors being false, and Lisa didn't have her back—a decision which basically ended their two-decade long friendship.

Kristen Doute and James Kennedy: 'VPR'

I mean, they dated, broke up, and were then trapped on a show together, so obviously these two have issues. Kristen specifically takes pretty much every opportunity to call out James for getting unfair second chances with LVP, and she even accused him of faking his sobriety.

Garcelle Beauvais and Erika Jayne: 'RHOBH'

Their feud largely played out on Instagram and involved Erika throwing Garcelle's book in the trash due to feeling like Garcelle was using her name to generate sales. Things escalated when Erika cursed at Garcelle's 14-year-old son. A pretty mess INDEED.
