Mortal Kombat Sequel Ends Filming

Mortal Kombat 2 has finished shooting. The sequel to 2021’s Mortal Kombat, based on the popular fighting video game, saw its cast off with a celebratory wrap party.

Pics from the party were posted on Instagram by actor Lewis Tan, who plays Cole Young. He can be seen posing with Martyn Ford, who plays antagonist Shao Khan.

“Wrap party #MortalKombat #MK2,” writes Tan, as he smiles with Ford in a suit. They’ll both be wearing something very different in the film, as they take each other on in a high-stakes battle for the universe.
