Bachelor in Paradise is coming back for its ninth season and already, spoilers are being scattered like grains of sand.
Will this year’s Mexico beach-goers from prior seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette find true love? Let’s hope things go better after Season 8’s super couple Serene Russell and Brandon Jones got engaged last year—but then announced their split this May.
In the midst of the Hollywood writers and actors’ strikes that have shut down scripted shows, ABC announced that reality series will return in the fall, including Bachelor in Paradise.
BIP began in 2014 as a summer show on which discarded competitors from The Bachelor and Bachelorette got another chance at love.

When will Bachelor in Paradise Season 9 premiere in 2023?
The show will air this fall, but ABC has not yet disclosed the premiere date. It will likely land sometime in late September or early October. The exciting upcoming senior show, The Golden Bachelor is set to air after Dancing with the Stars on ABC this fall, which means we could see BIP on Tuesday nights.

Who will host the new BIP?
Steady franchise host Jesse Palmer will return to the beach! On June 4, he told fans he was “Headed to [Paradise]” to start filming Season 9.

Yes! Friendly mixologist Wells Adams, who married Modern Family actress Sarah Hyland in August 2022, will provide advice and comic relief once again.

Is there anyone in the cast from Charity Lawson’s Bachelorette season?
According to Bachelor Nation spoiler expert Reality Steve, Aaron Bryant from Charity Lawson’s Bachelorette has been spotted on the beach, which would mean he didn’t win her heart. Reality Steve also claims Aaron’s The Bachelorette Season 20 co-stars Brayden Bowers, Tanner Courtad, Sean McLaughlin and John Henry Spurlock will also appear on BIP.

What other hunks will be kicking the sand?
Nate Mitchell, who romanced Gabby Windey as part of her dual Bachelorette Season 19 with Rachel, is set for BIP Season 9, Reality Steve claimed. Blake Moynes from Katie Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette is also supposedly in the cast.
Will Rachel Recchia be doing BIP?
Reality Steve revealed that The Bachelorette Season 19 star Rachel Recchia, who broke up with her show pick Tino Franco, will be trying her luck in Paradise. Plus, Steve wrote that two men from Rachel’s group, Aven Jones and Tyler Norris, will also show up in Mexico.

Also according to Reality Steve, Rachel and Tanner Courtad develop a connection on the beach, but it won’t last.

Yes! Reality Steve reported that beauties Katherine Izzo, Jess Girod, Mercedes Northup, Greer Blitzer, Brooklyn Willie, Kylee Russell and Kat Carter are in the cast.

It’s rumored that Eliza Isichei from BIP Season 8, who rejected lovable Rodney Mathews, gets into a serious romance with Aaron Bryant on season 9. Reality Steve saw them as a couple in a leaked alleged production video. Also, underwater welder John Henry, who was eliminated early on Charity’s current Bachelorette season, allegedly gets engaged to Kat Izzo from Zach’s Bachelor show, Reality Steve said. He wrote on Twitter with video proof, “(SPOILER): Kat and John Henry are absolutely together, and I’m pretty sure they got engaged at the end of BIP filming. Here is a video of them last Sat night July 8th at Rudee’s in Virginia Beach. Onlookers said they were holding hands and were an obvious couple.”
