This new moon is happening in the sign of Aquarius, according to Donna Page, a certified astrologer in Atlanta. Because Aquarius is an air sign, it’s big on intellect and discussion. It’s also a time to gather people together and solidify friendships, says Page.

Friendships will become your first priority around the new moon. "Everyone will feel a desire to reach out and make plans," says Page. "Even if you can’t do it immediately, you’ll want to schedule something for the future."
This new moon is also in the midpoint between Neptune (the planet of creativity and dreams) and Saturn (the planet of reality), making you think about ways to realistically achieve your dreams. Sure, maybe you're not an Ariana Grande-level singer (who is?), but you can still take singing lessons and regularly slay performances at open mic nights, right?
While everyone will be affected by the new moon, Aquarius and fellow fixed signs Leo, Scorpio, and Taurus will feel the most pressure to find the right balance between their aspirations and limitations and to make time for friends, says Page.
