Maggie Voisin from Montana is a professional freeskier, 7-time X-Games medalist, 3 time Olympian, and... big mountain skier?

In a video posted to Instagram two days ago, Maggie plans--and executes--a line from the top of a powdery ridge down to the runout below.

Maggie's caption teases more big mountain lines in her future. "I’m getting excited for more of this! 🙏🏼 (Hopefully soon)".

Lines never look as steep from the bottom, and this one looked consequential, so we can only imagine what Maggie saw from the top.

This is all a long way from her 2014 Olympic introduction, when she was selected for the slopestyle team in the Winter Olympics, only to fracture her right fibula, rendering her season paused (and Maggie unable to compete).

That was far from the end of Maggie's career, though.

This fall, Maggie took the award for ‘standout female skier of the year’ at if3 Festival for her skiing in Teton Gravity Research's newest movie, ‘Legend Has It.’

The film was stacked with talent: Nick McNutt, Ian Mcintosh, Janelle Yip, Marcus Goguen, and the list goes on.

Maggie graciously wrote, "Pushing my skiing in the backcountry this past season has been a highlight, and to have this side of my skiing be recognized amongst the incredible female talent is such an honor."

Maggie is from Whitefish, Montana, in the Rocky Mountains of Western Montana. Clearly, this has been the perfect training ground for all her competitive skiing success, and hopefully a launching pad for her big mountain adventures ahead.

We're stoked to see what lines Maggie draws up next.
