Montana Hates Yoga Pants

Montana Representative David Moore doesn’t like yoga pants and is starting a lone war against the tight pants in his cold state. Following an incident in which a group of bicyclists pedaled through the city of Missoula naked (ouch), the lawmaker wants to tighten indecent exposure rules.

"Yoga pants should be illegal in public anyway," Moore said, according to the Associated Press. Watt Hill, a retired professor who helped initiate HB 365, said, “I want Montana to be known as a decent state where people can live within the security of laws and protect their children and associates from degrading and indecent practices.”

The politician believes that tight-fitting beige clothing could be illegal under his proposal and “any device, costume, or covering that gives the appearance of or simulates the genitals, pubic hair, anus region, or pubic hair region.” Speedos would also be prohibited and displaying one’s nipples banned.

But when the proposal made it to court, it was reportedly tabled. But the bigger question is who wears nude-colored pants anyways and shows their nipples in cold Montana?
