'Monk' Fans, We Have Excellent News for You

USA is seemingly continuing its reign on streaming sites, as another beloved series from the network is dropping on Netflix.
After the resurgence Suits had last summer, Monk has officially hit the steamer as of February 5. As many may remember, the series follows the brilliant private detective Adrian Monk (played by Tony Shalhoub), who solves cases for the San Francisco Police Department. The drama was wildly successful during its eight-season run on television, winning multiple Emmy and Golden Globe Awards.
Even better, unlike Suits, which only had eight of the nine season on Netflix, the full series of Monk is available right now.
When fans noticed the show on Netflix, they immediately took to social media to celebrate.
"Omg they put Monk on Netflix," one person wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter). "I’m glad they put Monk on Netflix," someone else wrote.
While others are hoping that the show will end up going international soon. "Any chance we can get Monk, like the US Netflix? Not streamed anywhere in the UK, but still a hugely popular series," someone asked.
This news comes just months after the show's spin-off film, Mr. Monk's Last Case: A Monk Movie, came out on Peacock in December. The movie reunited characters Adrian Monk (Tony Shalhoub), Natalie Teeger (Traylor Howard), Captain Leland Stottlemeyer (Ted Levine) and Dr. Neven Bell (Hector Elizondo) for the first time since they were last on-screen together more than a decade ago.
Of course, if you don't have Netflix or prefer another streaming site, the show is also available on Peacock and Amazon Prime. It also airs frequently on the Hallmark Channel!
