This Finance Lawyer Is Showing People How To Get Expensive Products — Like AirPods, Sephora Makeup, Lululemon Clothes, And Nikes — 100% FREE Through Hidden Loopholes

Finance lawyer Erika Kullberg has quickly risen to TikTok fame. Just last week, she was celebrating 1 million followers. And now? She has 4 million to celebrate.

But Erika is no stranger to catching the attention of millions of people on social media. Last year, she shared how she made $100,000 her first year on YouTube.

So, it's pretty safe to say that Erika knows a lot about money — how to save it, invest it, make it.

Recently, Erika started going mega-viral on TikTok for sharing videos showing how to get free products. Like this one about Nikes that has over 46 million views:

In the video above, Erika explains how you can get a free pair of Nike shoes under their warranty. According to Nike's ~fine print~ policy, you can get a brand-new pair of shoes or a gift card for the same value if the shoe is damaged within the two-year time period you purchased them.

You fill out a performance return request on their website and, if approved, you get a gift card to get a new pair!

...And she's shown nearly 5 million people how to get free products at Sephora (even if it's not your birthday):

Most Sephoras have an "informal policy" that will allow you to claim your free birthday gift any time within the year.

In honor of Black Friday, which is quickly approaching, Erika showed how you can snag that hot deal at Costco BEFORE the item even goes on sale:

Erika has shared many more money-saving and -making hacks (more to be shared in this article!), but first, let's get a little insight into Erika's background and how she figures all of this stuff out. BuzzFeed sat down with her to learn more.

Last year, Erika quit her job as a corporate lawyer and started her own legal tech company called Plug and Law. Since then, she's created a total of 14 passive income streams.

Ever since law school, Erika said she's been adamant about reading the terms and conditions of everything very carefully. "I learned about the United Airlines policy because my bag was delayed and, after reading their terms, I discovered that United would reimburse me up to $3,500. Since I discovered this, I’ve had my bag delayed a few times, and each time I get reimbursed for my expenses."

"The screenshot in the TikTok is the real expense reimbursement form I submitted once when my bag was delayed," she added.

"Company terms (like the Nike warranty) exist to protect customers, but if you as a customer aren’t aware of them, it does you no good. I’m reading the fine print and creating TikToks on it so that people are aware that these policies exist. Oftentimes, in my experience, companies keep this information hidden in the fine print, so my goal is to bring it to light so people can benefit from it," she said.

Above, she explains how many credit cards offer theft protection and, if something like your AirPods get stolen, you can file a claim and get a credit to get new ones!

Learning these little hacks are definitely helping people save tons of money — like the fact that a 0.9 carat diamond is significantly cheaper than a 1 carat diamond and you can't even tell the difference!

Erika is also using her platform to share information about mental health and the workplace. For example, if you have depression and/or anxiety, here's how you can take several weeks off with full pay by filing for short-term disability:

She is also bringing awareness to important topics like pay equality. In her video below, she discuses how it is not illegal to discuss your pay with your coworkers. When employees share their pay with one another, they are able to find unjust pay disparities and fight to get them fixed:

Overall, Erika's goal is to teach people about money in a way that's easily digestible and not intimidating — and she really wants to focus on helping people make more money. "Money hacks are great, but what I want to do with TikTok is help people build long-term wealth. That starts with financial literacy. The finance education space is typically male-dominated, and I’m trying to change that."
