This Mom's Fake News Report Detailing Her Toddler's Temper Tantrum Has Left Millions Of People In Stitches

Kayla Sullivan is the mom of a 2-year-old kiddo named Allan.

And although Kayla now works in public relations, she used to be a television news reporter and anchor in Indiana.

But being out of the industry hasn't stopped Kayla from reporting news that's happening in her very own home. She first went viral with this mock report where she gives a play-by-play of her son resisting a diaper change — diaper rash cream mic in hand:

After that, Kayla caught of the attention of over 28 million people when she made this at-home news report highlighting a meltdown Allan recently had at Olive Garden:

In her news voice, she says, "Kayla Sullivan reporting live from outside my son's bedroom, where he is currently being detained until nap time is over. Now this story does involve a minor, so I can't release specifics, but what I can confirm is my son is a 2-year-old terrorist who held me hostage at the Olive Garden earlier today. It's important to note the friends I met there do not have children — and likely never will after witnessing this situation firsthand. This is an active investigation, but authorities believe the proper precautions were taken. I brought my son's favorite snacks and even risked judgment from other moms by bringing an iPad. But not even Cocomelon could have stopped this meltdown. After several cries demanding, quote, 'Chetchup! Chetchup!' a good Samaritan waitress miraculously interpreted it as the English word 'Ketchup' and brought him a bottle. Unfortunately, her good deed was later punished after he threw a ketchup-covered fork at her. Not all heroes wear capes, but this one should have worn an apron. You know these toddler outbursts are becoming increasingly common as more and more parents try out the new craze 'gentle parenting' and completely suck at it. Heh, I'll keep trying. Back to you."

In a follow-up report, Kayla also brought in some "eyewitnesses" to the incident 😂:

And she wrapped things up with an exclusive, sit-down interview with Allan himself:

"My son is not a terrorist by any means, but when he is throwing a fit in public, I do get embarrassed and 'negotiate' with him to stop. So, I thought a 'news report' would be funny and relatable to share with the world," said Kayla.

She added,

And as Kayla ended her viral report saying, "I'll keep trying," that is exactly what she plans to do as she navigates motherhood. "We are often our own worst critics even in a world of other moms constantly criticizing us! I hope moms find comfort in the fact they aren't alone in feeling like they are failing at whatever method of parenting they are trying to achieve. I hope they know that if you love your kid and do your best, you're a good mom!"
